Launch of Training Program ‘The Professional Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration’

The training program ‘The Professional Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration’, organised by the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre ‘Tahkeem’, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah, was launched yesterday evening (Monday) and will continue until March 13, 2023. The diploma is an excellent certification for those working in the legal, engineering and financial fields.

 

‘The Professional Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration' program seeks to develop the skills of participants, and educate on principles, procedures and various types of arbitration in the legal, engineering and financial fields. The diploma focuses on both theoretical academic as well as practical aspects of international commercial arbitration.

 

Mr. Ahmed Alechlah, Director of the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre ‘Tahkeem’, stressed that the centre is eager to continue organising arbitration training programs that address various forms of arbitration (economic, intellectual, financial, legal, etc.) to inspire a culture of sound arbitration among lawyers, professionals and businessmen. Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre ‘Tahkeem’ aims to expertly prepare a new generation of experienced arbitrators who exemplify skill and professionalism and are well versed about arbitration procedures and advanced standards and tools, in accordance with set international rules and standards, in order to benefit all members of society.

Prof. Radhi Alzubaidi, Director Of Continuous Education Center and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah, explained: "The Professional Diploma Program in International Commercial Arbitration was launched at the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah, in cooperation with the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Center.

AlZubaidi added: "The Professional Diploma Program in International Commercial Arbitration has now launched its fifth batch. The program includes 11 different axes, which introduce participants to the principles of arbitration and procedures in various cases. Upon completion of the professional diploma, graduates are granted a training certificate issued by the University of Sharjah Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development in cooperation with the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre ‘Tahkeem’."
